I’ve spent much of my life asking one question:

How do we make sense of the complexity of being human?

That question has taken me on an unexpected journey.

I’ve served as a Marine Corps officer, spent more than two decades helping leaders navigate growth and change at Motorola, written books, coached individuals and organizations, and studied subjects ranging from leadership and psychology to mythology, philosophy, religion, and the Great Books of the Western World. Along the way, I discovered that people rarely struggle because they lack information. More often, they struggle because they can’t yet see the relationships between the things they already know.

Over the years, I began developing visual frameworks that helped reveal those hidden relationships. What started as simple circles and diagrams gradually evolved into the Q-Cross™—a way of exploring the patterns, tensions, and possibilities that shape our lives, our work, and our decisions.

Today, my work brings together decades of experience in leadership, coaching, and the study of human development. Whether I’m working with an individual facing a life transition or a leadership team navigating organizational change, my goal is the same: to help people discover the deeper patterns that transform confusion into clarity and insight into meaningful action.

I don’t believe lasting change comes from having all the answers.

I believe it begins when we learn to see our lives differently.

If my work resonates with you, I’d be honored to continue the conversation.
